Street Fighter Tournament

Recently we received what is undoubtably the greatest edition to Major Toms ever. An old school arcade game custom built with 1300 classic games. As you can imagine, ain’t a whole lot of work been going down at Major Toms this week.

To celebrate it’s arrival on Wednesday 1st Feb we are going to host Mt Maunganui’s first ever Street Fighter tournament! It’ll kick off at 9:00pm and registration will start at 8:00pm. You’ll just need to pay 50c for your first game and if you advance through the tournament we’ll pay for the remainder of your credits.

We’ve consulted Major Toms self proclaimed resident Street Fighter guru Lex Mawson and he’s chosen “Street Fighter II Champion Edition” as the official version for the tournament.

The Street Fighter champion will win a $50 bar tab. Don’t forget to bring your game.
