Since we opened we’ve had free WIFI internet access for our patrons, but we haven’t done a very good job of letting people know. Some come hang out for as long as you want, just like these 3 geeks……. Macbook Pro is not a prerequisite.

Heard a rumour Die Die Die was playing your establishment on the 20th of July, tell me it’s the truth!!! Last time they played the Mount I was one of the 11 that turned out to see them and it blew my mind. If so I thoroughly recommend to you that they get Wellington band ‘Thought Creature’ to support, I know they love them as much as I do. Bring it on…

yep we are working on it. Probably won’t have support acts though. It’s a Tuesday so for the sake of our neighbors we are looking to start and finish pretty early.

Awesome! I’ll keep checking this page for confirmation. Thanks so much, it’s been awhile since Tauranga has had any decent bands drop in. Check out ‘Thought Creature’ too, if you enjoy them as much as I do then you may want to think about inviting them up one day.

Also go to if you like weird/outsider music (ie Daniel Johnston, Jandek etc) too, not everyones cup of tea but he’s a local and has his album distributed through a record company in the states called ‘Roaratorio’.

It changes daily. You can get a password at the bar when you buy something.
