Laneway

For the first time since opening Major Toms was closed on Monday. It was also Hamish’s first day off in 2 months. We went to the Laneway Festival in Auckland and it was amazing.

We started off having lunch and cocktails at Food Alley, a crazy little asian food court on Albert St. Then more cocktails at the 42 Below bar over looking laneway. We had a stack of different wristbands but none of them were much use so we followed Mark Hill through the gap in the fence, around the back of some tents and straight into the backstage area.

Hamish talked to Florence (from headline act Florence and the Machine) but none of his “friends” thought it was a worthy occasion to take a photo, so instead we just have these crap ones of us having happy awesome times.
