Vice-versa Podwars

Our first podwars event was huge. Definitely the best night we’ve had at Major Toms since we opened. So we are going to make it a monthly event. Next up is Vice-versa Podwars on Saturday 13th February.

All music played must be from artists who are of questionable sexuality. Gay, bi-sexual or experimental, those fruits definitely made some good tunes and know how to party! Or you can play artists that have been embraced by the gay community & songs that are gay icons.

The first 8 people to register by emailing majortomsbar@clear.net.nz will lock themselves down a 20 minute time slot to DJ via their ipod. All songs must be from artists of questionable sexuality and you must must dress as the opposite sex. First pod-jockey starts at 9pm with the winner PJ’n for the last hour and taking home a $150 bar tab at Major Toms.

We’ll also have a bunch of drink special rolling for those who dress up, so get raiding your mothers & brothers wardrobes.
